Dr. Daniel Murphy
Dr. Murphy grew up in Trenton and graduated from Trenton High School in 1973. He attended Michigan State University and
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977. In 1982, Dr. Murphy graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School.
Dr. Murphy has volunteered throughout his career. Shortly after graduating. he practiced for one year in Jamaica. He then traveled to India, where he established a dental clinic within a leprosy colony. He worked and developed the clinic and then hired a local dentist to continue the practice. He has also done work in Guatemala.
Dr. Murphy has practiced dentistry in Trenton for over 25 years. He resides in Grosse Ile with his lovely wife, Victoria. He has three children that reside in the Boston and Washington D.C. areas. He and his wife are proud grandparents of Tom. Dr. Murphy was president of the Grosse Ile School Board for many years, and is currently president of the Grosse Ile Country Club. His interests are many, and include traveling, golfing, boating, swimming and grandparenting.
